used to think that studying is easier than swimming. well, i still stand by it, haha.
but the difference is that results yield from studying is very often unpredictable in nature
as long as you swim more and be more hardworking, results will show.

you might study 24/7, but nothing comes out of it due to examination stress, and people might deem you stupid.

im studying, slowly, but im sure that i'll complete it. but the factor of luck is beyond my control and all i can hope is that whatever i studied and remembered will come out during exam and none of the questions stump me. well, it always work this way, for everyone, doesnt it.

a one time screwup doesnt make you stupid, but a one time screw up comes with an opportunity cost that im not prepared and will not bear if i were to screw up. major exams are just devils that attempt to group people into elites, the norm and the outcasts. i've seen cases of all three cases before and of course i hope to be in the elites. haven been out of it yet, but its getting more difficult to maintain. especially when one screwup or one mark lost can put you in somewhere you dont belong.

life's such, which differs by only a letter from life suck

hang in there, everything will be all over sooner than you or i expect
